Svelte Origins: The Documentary tells the story of how Svelte came to be, what makes Svelte different, and how it changes the game as a framework. Filmed in locations throughout Europe and the US, it features Svelte’s founder Rich Harris and members from the core community who contributed to making Svelte what it is today.

It's profoundly strange to watch yourself and your friends in a film about a thing that, in your heart, you still believe to be a fun little side project. I suppose it's time to move on from that illusion — we've become a global community of people trying to make web development more accessible and fun, and the documentary captures that perfectly. I hope everyone enjoys watching it as much as we enjoyed being part of it!
