What we do: In short, we are a web development agency. We are a small group of designers and developers who build things. Sometimes these are just experiments not really meant to generate revenue, sometimes there are projects for clients or sometimes it's a project for our business. We have a presence in South Africa and USA. We use React+Redux and use Firebase as a backend. We love Firebase so a lot of what we do is based on what Firebase can do.

Why work for us: You will be given a lot of freedom to build things the way you want. If the owner tells you to build something one way and you can make the case that doing it this way rather makes more sense for business, we do it that way. The best ideas win. We're looking for independent thinkers and we are not opposed to debate about how best to solve problems. If you like feeling like you've truly contributed to something and invested in something, we want you to feel great when that thing succeeds. We've even given stock (equity) to some of our best developers. You invest in us, we invest in you. Oh, and did I mention attending the annual Firebase conferences?

Our Culture: We are a small team of like-minded people who enjoy not just building things but having fun. We often go out and do team lunches, for example. We have a super laid back atmosphere in the office and we are also flexible with regards to working in the office or remotely, with flexible hours. So not corporate. We reward our people for doing well and they tend to stick :)

Our Engineering Processes: We do weekly sprints and daily standups (5 minutes), but we are a small company so we can move pretty fast and we tend to change our approach based on the needs of each project.
