What we do

As a passionate believer of online identity verification, Dr Kevin Cox established Edentiti Pty Ltd in 2005 in Canberra Australia.

greenID™ is a software as a service (SaaS)-based solution that enables businesses to validate the identity of their customers – and onboard new customers – in real time. Easy to implement, secure and privacy compliant, the system eliminates the need for in-person verification. It improves the customer experience while maintaining compliance with know your customer (KYC), anti-money laundering (AML) and counterterrorism financing (CTF) requirements.

Since then, greenID™ has established its platform as the leading verification service to over 300 businesses in across Australia and New Zealand. As the need for the greenID™ platform grew internationally, what began as Edentiti has turned into VIX Verify, with a global vision and expanded operations and offices in:

Our Culture

The Vix office in the heart of the Cape Town Southern Suburbs in Bergvliet is mainly for developers – and the culture matches that. Flexible work hours, relaxed dress, remote work, bean-bag relaxation zone for chilling out, great coffee. We are a small team that do lunch or breakfast on a weekly basis. Our main offices in Australia offer great support and go to immense lengths to ensure we feel part of the team.

Our Engineering Processes

Our approach to software engineering is iterative and collaborative, with a heavy dose of pragmatism thrown in. We use the tools in our toolbelt to make our development cycle easier and smoother, and if we find we are missing a tool, we find, or build one to fill that gap. We try to follow agile as much as possible.

Our Hiring Process

We do an initial quick interview either via Skype, or at a nearby coffee shop. Relaxed meet and greet – we would like to determine if there is a good match between us. We might review some past code or just make an offer on the spot!
