About the Company

We are a startup creating an ordering platform for builders and contractors who order between R100k & R1m worth of materials per month. It acts as a middle man between suppliers and customers. By aggregating demand we are able to get the best pricing and pass these savings onto our customers. Currently the process is being done manually and there are 60 customers. We will pilot the platform on these customers before rolling out further. The platform will be a web-based app and a mobile app.

We are looking for a highly skilled computer programmer who is comfortable with both front and back end programming. You will be responsible for developing and designing front end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and working alongside graphic designers for web design features, among other duties.

• Minimum of 4 years software development experience required
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proficiency with a fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with a JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and Amber.
• Proficiency with a server-side languages such as Python, Java, PHP, and .Net.
• Familiarity with a database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.

Remuneration Package

• R40k-60k pm CTC
