What we do

We are a high-touch service and platform that provides one-on-one tutoring to students from Grade 1 right through to post-grad university throughout South Africa. We also offer tutoring for students who would like to learn a language or a musical instrument recreationally.

Why Work For Us

At Teach Me 2 we believe in helping families prepare their children for life. We just have one problem: Our full-time team is constantly stretched to capacity.

We need to hire more incredible people – fast. We're super protective over our team, and so we don't want to risk hiring someone who won't fit into our company culture.

Our Culture

Culture is one of the most important things for us at Teach Me 2. We're serious about the work we do and maximising the productivity each person is able to produce. We make sure we balance this out by not taking ourselves too seriously.

Our Engineering Processes

-Business Logic contained within a Ruby on Rails API, with many integrations to 3rd party APIs -Rspec for testing -Most frontends are written in JS with React rendering - some use Rails views -Github for version control

Our Hiring Process

There are a couple of stages to our hiring process.

Step 1: We review your CV

Step 2: We will set up an interview with 2 members of our exco team

Step 3: You will be sent a task or testing to do

Step 4: Second round of interviews with CTO and exco
