Stone Three was founded by Dave Weber and Francois Swanepoel in 2000. Together they embarked on a very demanding mission: to create the bespoke, high-end signal processing solutions required to overcome real-world engineering problems.

Since then, the company vision has expanded to include not just Stone Three - a pioneering product development house that develops bespoke enterprise software engineering solutions for industry leaders; but also Stone Three Mining Solutions - a complete solution provider of machine vision systems to the mining industry.

At Stone Three we do technology heavy lifting in the areas of signal processing, software defined radio, advanced machine vision sensor systems, enterprise engineering solutions, data science applications and advanced computer graphics, applied to industries ranging from financial, maritime, healthcare, telecommunications and media to visual effects (VFX) and more.
