Speccoats manufactures specialist coatings across 14+ product categories — industrial floor coatings, thermoplastic road and playground markings, waterproofing, aerosols in 200+ RAL colours, and protective coatings. We operate factories in Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town, supplying construction, infrastructure, and industrial clients across South Africa and internationally, including a growing export business into Australia.

Our tech stack: SAP Business One (ERP), HubSpot (CRM), Slack (comms), Botpress (chatbots), Make.com/n8n (automation), Claude and GPT APIs (AI). We're not a tech company — we make paint and coatings — but we build our operations like one. The person in this role will own this entire stack and decide where it goes next.

A short conversation with the MD to see if there's a fit, followed by a practical challenge — we'll give you a real business problem (like automating a purchase order workflow) and ask you to design the solution. No whiteboard algorithms, no trick questions. We want to see how you think about systems and processes.
