The founding story

In 2014, founders Mels and Jan Pieter saw a rapidly growing yet inefficient solar energy market. They saw a big opportunity: enable installers to grow more quickly by simplifying their processes. This relentless focus made Solar Monkey the leader in solar panel software.

Our mission

Our innovative software allows solar installers to design a full system remotely within one minute. This helps their efficiency, giving the solar panel market a big boost. Every year, over 200,000 systems are designed with Solar Monkey. After installation, our performance analysis guarantees an optimal yield.
