About Us

At Siyavula, we’re seriously passionate about improving maths and science education and we've got a unique product worth throwing our weight behind. We're set to expand our reach, taking our online learning platform not just further into South Africa, but also out to the rest of the world.

Our highly driven team work remotely. We’re proud geeks and no, that does not mean we all have backgrounds in the hard-core Sciences :) We’re interested in people who are good at coming alongside and working together on a project, but are also capable of managing their own efforts, getting on with the job at hand and delivering a high-quality product, every time.

We’re a start-up and start-up culture permeates a lot of what we do. We work with a relatively flat organisational structure, enjoy flexible work hours and our shutdown over Christmas doesn’t come out of your leave - Bonus!

Hiring process

Our hiring process is structured to give both you and our team a well-rounded view of how we could work together. By covering both technical skills and cultural alignment, we aim to ensure that we’re making a great match from both perspectives. While our process may be more comprehensive than some, it’s designed to give you a true sense of our work environment, team dynamics, and the role itself, while giving us insight into how you think, work, and lead.

The process includes:

• Screening Interview
• Technical Interview
• Leadership, Values and Team Fit Interview
• Final Executive Interview

After completing these stages, we make decisions quickly and will close the loop with you, providing feedback and the next steps. We’re looking forward to meeting you and exploring how we can work together!
