About Us

We are undoubtedly South Africa's leaders in terms of what can be achieved with data analytics and data digitization; our technology is the building block of tomorrow and we are looking to push the boundaries globally. We represented South African SME's at the ITU's in South Korea in 2017 and came back having won 'Best Business Model' globally.

We believe we have the responsibility and capability to create the next generation; the next generation driven by seamless analytics. What makes us different in the world of data processing solutions is our emphasis on user-focused design - it doesn't matter how powerful the engine is if it isn't intuitive, accessible and something customers want to engage with.

Internally we are organized into two streams that work closely together. Our 'solutions' stream takes the products we have already developed and works closely with clients to integrate them into their systems and make the user interfaces suitable for their customized needs. Our 'products' stream work on creating new data science capabilities that do not require customization and can be repeatably deployed in the future.

Our Growth

We are growing. Over the last 2 years the six of us at Simplus have established a strong reputation with the market and investors. Our commercial success has resulted in a new round of funding, and, fortunately, a new round of hiring! Our only constraint at the moment is not clients, rather, it's the number of highly motivated people we can find that want to be part of the Simplus journey.

Our Hiring Process

Choosing the right place to work is no small decision. To ensure you love working here as much as we do, we have put in place a recruitment process that allows you to get to know a number of us well and vice versa.

If you are reading this, then the chances are we have already made contact. We hope we can arrange a call and answer any questions you might have. The next steps will be to complete a short online assessment and schedule the first interview with our Head of Talent and another member of our team. The second interview will be with our lead data engineer, and our final interview with one of the founding execs. We find interviews provide a better engagement for yourself and us if you prepare answers to a few questions we will provide in advance.
