We have a predominantly Microsoft tech stack but believe in using the right technology for each problem. Our process is dynamic and at any given time we may be using a flavour of SCRUM or KANBAN to get work over the line.

We are a group of passionate creators. We are not the biggest, nor the oldest institute, but we carry a deep love for software development and a relentless pursuit for learning and are dedicated to progress.

Our recruitment process
Candidate Identification: We proactively search for talented individuals who meet our cultural and technical criteria. Whats this criteria I hear... a track record in coding and a passion for software development.
Interview and Technical Evaluation: In a one-on-many discussion, we'll explore your previous experiences, your career thus far in development, and the unique qualities that you can bring to a team. As part of this stage, we may provide a programming task, relevant to the role, to complete afterwards. This helps us gauge your technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and approach to coding challenges.
Peer Interview: Depending on your initial interview, we may invite you to a casual conversation with potential team members. This is a chance to discuss your coding projects, your preferred technologies, and your approach to teamwork. It’s a great way for us to see how well you'd fit within our existing team.
Evaluation: After these interviews, our team will collectively review the feedback and evaluate whether you are the right fit for SHFT both technically and culturally.
Final Interview & Job Offer: If our team's feedback is positive, a formal job offer will be extended, outlining your role, responsibilities, and benefits.
