What we do
At Paterva we make an application called Maltego which is a visual link analysis tool that, out the box, comes with open source intelligence (OSINT) plugins – called transforms. The tool offers real-time data mining and information gathering as well as the representation of this information on a node based graph making patterns and multiple order connections between said information easily identifiable.
Our Environment
Maltego is regularly shown at ‘IT security’ conferences such as Blackhat & Defcon, and many others – if not by us then by other members of the community. From a law enforcement perspective the Maltego workshops are always a favourite at conferences.
Our developers are some of the best in the world and we all work close with the community to provide something everyone can use to solve difficult problems in a clever way. Our Hiring Process
- Introductory meeting (AFK) just to get to know each other a bit at our offices in Pretoria East
- Technical take home test done in your own time.
- Technical interview at our offices to discuss the take home test and look at additional coding problems
