OpenDNA is a dynamic technology that creates a 360 degree view of app users’ interests. At its core, OpenDNA is a robust platform technology (leveraging AI and M2M learning) that builds dynamic user profiles. The technology adaptively learns what information is actually relevant to users based on their interactions with their commonly used applications. Using its proprietary technology, OpenDNA is able to provide a more relevant and contextualized first-party app experience as it builds a 360 degree view of a user’s "interest cloud.” At scale, OpenDNA becomes a marketplace of user data for app developers to provide the most unique and personalized first-party experience to their users.
The data within OpenDNA is completely transparent to users and allows them to control, manage, and edit their data in real-time. Not only does this improve the feedback loop of highly relevant information, it helps alleviate the growing concerns about online data privacy. To showcase the capabilities of OpenDNA the company has built two apps, Jottr (soft launched in September in the App Store) and Jottr Elect (expected to launch in December). Jottr provides a broad spectrum of content; Jottr Elect will be focused on the 2016 U.S. election cycle. Our engineering process
We've got a lot to do and not much time to do it in so we move fast. Requirements and deadlines change regularly. We use JIRA/Confluence and HipChat, with day-long or week-long sprints depending on the deadline/feature.
