OneSpark’s founders spent many years working in the insurance industry, creating some of the world’s most innovative and award-winning insurance and Social Impact products, helping to improve the lives of millions of people across the globe. After years of frustration, they left their jobs and created OneSpark Insurance, because they believed that life insurance, and insurance in general, could be done better and in a manner that enabled greater inclusivity, transparency and the re-invigoration of a relatively stagnant industry. OneSpark has subsequently designed and developed several completely new insurance products across three business units. These products were underpinned by the same philosophy and vision of rebuilding insurance bottom up to provide the most personalised, dynamic and comprehensive offering, at a price which is substantially cheaper than the market, through the use of state-of-the-art AI technology and new age actuarial thinking.

Our Engineering Processes
You will report directly to the Lead Developer and have the power to set the strategic direction and vision for OneSpark's technical development journey. You will be expected to ideate, design, develop, implement and manage the entire engineering process from front-end to back-end. There will be help though, as OneSpark's internal and external development teams will be there to assist and help you grow.
Our Hiring Process
At first, you will be interviewed by OneSpark's Lead Developer who will asses your technical proficiency and culture fit for the development team. Thereafter, you will be expected to interview with OneSpark's founders with an idea to get to know you better, as well as assess your overall proficiency for the role at hand.
