Summary

Nightsbridge is a Channel Manager.

We connect the data relating to rates, availability and reservations at an accommodation provider to the web sites that sell that accommodation.

To do that, we provide a Property Management System to our guest houses, lodges, B&Bs, apartments, hotels and Back-packers, or link to the one they already have and then centralise that data. In this way, we can retrieve an accurate reservation picture for that establishment and provide accurate booking services on the Internet.

We connect to accommodation providers to retrieve availability data and to channel partners who are interested in it. Our channel partners include large international players like Booking.com, Expedia, TripAdvisor, Air BnB, along with local shops like RoomsForAfrica, SleepingOut, SafariNow, and LekkerSlaap. Increasingly, we are also providing the data to large corporate travel agents.

We are based in Hout Bay and still maintain our startup culture, yet we are now a major player across the African continent. We have 50+ staff in Hout Bay and a further 12 in Nigerian and Kenya.

There's a lot of technology involved. We have over 1,000,000 lines of Java, Javascript, HTML and CSS, spread across about 10 major systems (Booking technology, Extranet API, Internal Support, Accounting/Billing etc). And it's growing....

We're experiencing 40% growth and we're excited about what we're being asked to contribute in the tourism space. Our technology extends to major web API services, payment gateways and mobile applications. You won't be bored!
