What we do

My Emissions is a leading provider of food carbon labelling, helping food companies to be more sustainable and communicate their impact to climate-conscious customers.

My Emissions is well funded with industry investors, has received backing from Innovate UK, and now works with some of the biggest and most exciting companies in the UK and globally. Accounting for 26% of global greenhouse gas emissions, food offers one of the best and quickest ways to reduce our impact on the planet.

My Emissions is combining our expertise in food, sustainability and tech to help some of the most existing food businesses understand, reduce and carbon label their food.

Why Work For Us

The My Emissions platform is already being used to calculate the carbon footprint for some of the largest food companies in the world. We’re at the front of the emerging food carbon footprinting sector, and have the opportunity to build software that pushes the boundaries of the industry.

As a part of our tech team, you will be working closely with our technical co-founder Nathan and the rest of our team on developing all of our client-facing and internal products. Currently, our tech stack includes a Python + Django backend, React + Typescript frontend, and AWS for our infrastructure.

Our Culture

We are now a team of 7 and have funding to almost double our team in the next 12 months. We work between our homes, a co-working space near Liverpool street, and we will be moving to our own permanent office in London soon. We have an open and collaborative atmosphere where everyone contributes to the growth direction of the business.
