Why Work For Us
Mobenzi is the place for self-motivated individuals who like being part of a critical thinking and innovative team. Not only do we provide a platform for innovation, but we also innovate with purpose – at Mobenzi we develop products across a broad spectrum of verticals but typically focus on those wanting to uplift emerging and marginalised communities. Along with providing tangible value and real impact for end-users, we also understand the power of getting the right technology in the right hands. We are constantly striving to keep up with the latest devices, frameworks, languages and tools, aiming to improve all aspects of our solutions with each new project we work on.
Our Engineering Process
Mobenzi employs a lightweight agile methodology centered around short sprints and easily consumable technical protocol documents. We encourage a high level of day-to-day knowledge sharing, occasional deep dives of pair-programming and weekly developer meetings to discuss tricky problems, new releases, longer term work pipelines and best practices. Our dedicated QA and support teams are also always on hand to provide assistance and to catch anything that may slip through the cracks.
Mobenzi offers a dynamic, relaxed but professional working environment. We value learning and encourage personal development. Our diverse team is united by our shared vision to deliver significant impact through technology.
Our Recruitment Process
Our recruitment process only entails two steps: (1) a 30 minute cognitive ability assessment at our offices (also a good opportunity to have a peak at our working environment); and then (2) a face-to-face interview with our Technical Director.
