For over six decades, our people have been the backbone of our company. Our passion for people is evident through many of the activities we embark on, in support of our employees’ professional and personal goals. In 1981, barring the politics of the day, Mercedes-Benz opened the first multi-racial technical training facility in East London. 41 years later, the facility now renamed as Mercedes-Benz Learning Academy remains an important feeder of technical skills for the benefit of the South African automotive skills workforce. Many years later, we are a certified Top Employer in South Africa, in recognition of our exceptional employee offerings.
