What Do We Do

We work with young people to tackle inequality. We are re-imagining a world in which tech enables us to level the playing ground. We provide youth-centered coding bootcamps that equip youth with specialized skills to join the industry. Evaluations show that 85% of our youth obtain a job through our program and that the youth improve in resilience, emotional intelligence and overall professionalism. And we have only just started!!!!

The Challenge

The coding academy is moving into its third year and we are entering a new era because we have made the strategic decision to include curriculum development and implementation as an in-house function. We are seeking to establish a diverse team that embodies a creative, dynamic and disruptive approach to solving both the educational and employment challenges that youth face in South Africa. We aim to disrupt the status quo of coding education by developing a modular curriculum that is in line with industry trends and needs.

Our Hiring Process

This is a 2 step process:
- Round 1 is a face-to-face meeting at our offices
- Round 2 is a second interview and/or a practical assessment
