What we do

Lelapa.AI is a socially grounded Africa-centric Artificial Intelligence research and product lab powered by the wisdom of resource efficient technology. We are currently focused on building out Vulavula, a Language AI as a service for our Indigenous languages.

Our Engineering Processes

We're agile. We love unit tests and a good mob coding session between engineers and researchers. We're cloud-native. We're largely using Python and React. Our favourite tools include Docker and Kubernetes. We're on both Azure and AWS.
