About Us

Leaply is SA’s leading graduate talent marketplace. Our platform matches top young talent with exciting opportunities at companies looking to attract and hire the best talent, faster.

Some key metrics on our platform:

  • over 300,000 registered candidate profiles;
  • approximately 300 new joiners each day;
  • 50,000 active students per month
  • typically 7 out of every 10 hires made at any of our clients are candidates sourced from our database.

We offer a range of intuitive, simple to use tools purposefully built to help our clients perform key recruitment functions at a fraction of the time and cost. That's how we pay the bills (for now), but at the core of everything we do is the pursuit of an open-source, algorithmically personalised and self-incentivised ecosystem that links people and opportunity in a meaningful way.

Our hiring process

We try to keep it simple. We'll have a call (or meet over coffee if you're close enough) to discuss your interests and skills and see if you're a good fit. If you work on any projects we can review those to get an idea of your work. Since we love to learn, we're looking for people who want to learn with us. The best team is one where the members' skills complement each other.

Leaply's Michael Prins (CTO) and Tiaan van der Spuy (CEO) posing for stock photography in one of the Launchlab boardrooms. We have no idea who the other people at the table are.
Another stock photo, this time of the Launchlab co-working space showing random people of mixed ethnicity pretending to work ;)
