Our History:

In 2006 i-Deal LLC, a leading innovator in capital markets workflow solutions, and Hemscott Group Ltd, a premier international provider of financial data and investor relations services, today announced that they have merged under a common holding company called Ipreo Holdings LLC. Ipreo further announced today its acquisition of Marketpipe, a UK-based provider of financial services technology focusing on new-issuance fixed income solutions. With the acquisition of Marketpipe, Ipreo becomes the only truly global provider of new-issuance solutions in the fixed income space.

As a development organization we work in an Agile manner (yes, with a big A), this means we have Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Developers and Testers that combine to form teams. We have Agile teams, not a Dev Team and a Test Team and a BA Team.

Tech Stack

We have 2 primary dev stacks Java based back end with web front ends (AngularJS) connecting to either SQL or Oracle back ends.

We then have the .Net stacks, I say stacks because depending on the product it may have a C++ \ ASP.Net front end stack or it might have a newer C# \ MVC \ AngularJS stack.

We are currently investing quite heavily in our micro services architectures as well as migrating from TFS \ TFVC onto Git \ GitHub and the Atlassian tool suite.

Our Hiring Process:

Our process consists of 2 stages:

1. Meeting with Gavin, our local IT Director this would be to assess a cultural fit and get a general overview of Ipreo.
2. Is a technical interview with line management and team members.
