Go2Africa has launched a full-service platform into the tourism industry. The new business forms part of the Go2Africa stable but is a standalone business to be known as Bazaruto.
The platform will allow independent agents and SMEs to create logistically complex holidays in sub-Saharan Africa. Bazaruto’s capability includes seamless checking of both price and accommodation availability; managing and delivering a responsive itinerary, and handling supplier interfaces.
We're a team of 8 (5 devs, 2 analysts & a ux guy) and follow a Kanban inspired process, releasing as stories are completed. We're big on quality, have a culture of code reviews and extensive test coverage.
Our technology stack is varied, and we use the best tool for the job. We use Ruby for the backend, and React for the more complex front end.
Our hiring process
Meet Ben (Head of Dev) and Neil (Team Lead) for around 45 minutes. If we get along, we generally do a 90 minute peer programming session. If that goes well we'll make an offer.
