What we do

At Fynbos we are building a better way to pay. To do this we are building a digital wallet using open standards, such as Interledger and Open Payments, and providing consumers with full control of their accounts and payments through open APIs.

We think online payments with cards and crypto provide for a terrible user experience and we believe we can do better using native Web technologies. We are laser focused on user experience, while improving on the security, privacy and interoperability of current payments systems.

Founded in 2021, and backed by some of Silicon Valley’s most successful and disruptive companies and entrepreneurs, we're a team of optimistic, and passionate, engineers, and payments experts, with a mission to make digital payments simpler, safer, and more accessible.
