Why Work For Us

We're rebuilding our platform from the ground up — replacing a legacy system with a modern stack and modern practices. You'll have real influence over what we build and how we build it. We're small enough that good ideas don't get lost in committee, and the problems are genuinely interesting: turning messy supplier pricing and care-home procurement into something transparent and controllable. Our Culture

We hire people who think, not just people who ship. Engineers here are expected to push back on requirements, propose better approaches, and contribute to the direction of the product — not just execute against a spec. We work closely with the business owner and stakeholders, so being able to translate fuzzy business problems into clear technical work is part of the job. Low ego, high autonomy, and a strong preference for getting things right over getting things out the door.

Our Engineering Processes

We use Linear for tickets and roadmap, work in short feedback loops with stakeholders, and lean into agentic coding tools as a core part of how we build. We expect engineers to have a point of view on where AI copilots help and where they hurt, and to use them thoughtfully — not as a substitute for understanding the system. Code review is still meaningful here. We value small, well-scoped PRs, clear commit history, and good test coverage on the parts that matter.

Our Hiring Process

We keep it short. One deep first-round interview covering your background, your view on the SDLC and agentic tooling, a live discussion of how you'd approach a real stakeholder request, and your experience coordinating with external suppliers. If we're both keen, a short follow-up to meet the wider team. We aim to give a decision within a week of the first conversation.
