About Fonk Cape Town

Fonk Cape Town is a digital design and development agency specialises in crafting beautiful mobile experiences. We have offices in Cape Town and in Amsterdam. Together we work with some of the worlds' most reputable companies and brands, as well as teaming up with industry disrupting start-ups. We are busy growing our team and capacity in South Africa.

We’re looking for:
Competent developers to strengthen our team. We work on a variety of projects and value a varied skillset and proactive mentality. Between (front-end) web development work for our Amsterdam team (CraftCMS, WordPress) and lean product development and prototyping for local startups/clients (Flutter, React, Node), we have plenty of work to keep people engaged, busy and growing in their stacks of choice.

Candidates should:

• Feel comfortable implementing bleeding-edge UI and have an eye for better UX.
• Be able to facilitate integration with backend services and have experience implementing APIs.
• Be mindful of code quality, design patterns and should be able to bring new ideas to improve existing projects.
• Feel comfortable providing code reviews to colleagues.
• Understand the importance of testing in an efficient matter.
