About Finch Technologies

Finch Technologies builds technology for the financial services industry. Our goal is to create a more financially inclusive industry for consumers and small businesses, by democratizing access to finance. We do this through four core pillars:

• Origination: We own and operate two established marketplaces: Fincheck and FundingHub. These generate thousands of leads for the various partners that we have. A proprietary piece of technology - Engine - runs the matching process efficiently.
• Onboarding: We have developed a digital customer onboarding product called Gathr. This reduces customer churn in the information collection and verification stage of the customer journey, by providing a fully digital customer onboarding experience.
• Data Enrichment: Understanding the customer's financial position beyond just a credit score helps them improve their financial position, and opens up access to finance to the traditionally undervalued and unbanked. Our BetterScore financial health tool achieves this [currently in development].

Technology

First, it's important to know that we operate two types of businesses, both a B2C arm and a B2B arm.

The marketplaces (Fincheck and FundingHub) are B2C, and fulfill a valuable mandate for both sets of our customers.

The technology that runs those marketplaces, as well as the other pillar elements mentioned (Gathr, BetterScore and Payments), is the B2B part of the business. We offer all our technology as a service, or as a 'platform' that allow clients to white label our software as their own (that might be why the Finch Technologies brand is not one you've heard of, but we're trying to be better at that too!).

Our advantage in operating the marketplaces - FundingHub and Fincheck - is that we have a 'testing ground' out of which new products spawn. The volume that runs through both those platforms gives us data, insights, a testing ground, and also a foothold in the markets to which we sell products.

Clients

We work with companies ranging from small alternative personal lenders, to the big banks, to the big telco's and more. An ecosystem of over 70 different partners and clients means we're established players in the Fintech space.

Team

We have a multidisciplinary team that operates the various products. Some roles span across products and brands, and some are hired to work on a specific product.
