Founded in Barcelona in 2016, Factorial now serves more than 3,000 growing businesses in 65+ countries. While we got our start as time tracking and time off management software, we quickly saw that HR professionals were juggling too many single-function tools. It became our mission to be the one-stop-shop for all people processes. We now offer solutions for HR analytics, document management, performance appraisals, goal-tracking, company culture all in one effective, easy-to-manage platform. Our Engineering Processes
Our engineering team is growing really fast and there's no other way for us to go that pushing ownership down and allowing our team to be truly autonomous and independent. That's also the reason that our engineers are full-stack, we trust them to take any initiative from conception to production. Managers give directions to teams and they propose hypotheses, objectives, and initiatives. We also have a developer experience team that is focused on improving the experience of our engineers. To share some data with you, we deploy between 20 and 40 times daily.
Our Hiring Process
We try to keep the process as fast as possible. It usually has two steps, first an interview with the manager with the goal of understanding what are you looking for and that you have no doubts about who we are and how we work. And a second technical interview where we start talking about a piece of code or project you share with us (It can be anything you feel it's good enough to show your skills) and finishes with a technical talk with other team members. During this interview, you'll also have the chance to ask other Factorial Engineers any questions you may have.
