Exaro provides solutions for the identity, health and health insurance administration and agricultural sector in Nigeria. We work mostly in green field environments and are often building industries as much as we are building solutions.
We work with biometric enrollment systems, high volume enrollment processing systems, automated identification systems, large databases, geographical information systems, identity card/document production systems, clinical health systems, claims management systems, etc. etc. The challenges in a country like Nigeria are huge and solutions are tested to the utmost.
Our development cycles for new projects are normally short and the time from idea to prototype to first production systems are often just a few days. The focus is however to establish stable processes that can process large numbers of transactions in a secure, predictable and consistent manner as soon as possible. And once established these solutions can run for 10 years and longer.
For this environment we need people that are flexible, innovative and can work in teams and on their own. Our focus is on reliable, mature and fit for purpose technologies and solutions that will stand the test of time.
Our head office is in Abuja, Nigeria. The team in South Africa is working from our office in Moreletapark, Pretoria. People appointed in Pretoria are normally not required to travel to Nigeria.
Our hiring process
Our interview process normally commence with a Skype interview with one or two of our senior staff followed by an in-person technical interview at our Pretoria office. The latter may include a skills test. This will be followed by a final Skype or in-person meeting should we decide to make an offer.
