We enable doctors to diagnose more images, more consistently, in less time and at a lower cost - whilst prioritising care for people who need it most.
Trained and validated by radiologists for medical practioners, our products detect and highlight abnormalities across medical diagnostic images. RADIFY® platform is the AI-based solution developed by Envisionit Deep AI®, supported by radiologists and is licensed with SAHPRA as a Class A Medical Device.
The Problem:
Practices across Africa are experiencing increasing demand on diagnostic imaging.
X-Ray workflows are inefficient and incosistent. Scale and speed are constrained by the number of radiologists available at any given time and COVID-19 is placing an increased burden on radiologists across the world.
Tuberculosis for example, an airborne infectious disease is an important public health concern.
Tuberculosis is the 9th leading cause of death worldwide and the leading cause from a single infectious agent, ranking above HIV/AIDS. Over 25% of TB deaths occur in the African region. The emergence of multidrug-resistant TB (MDR-TB) poses a major health security threat and could risk gains made in the fight against TB. In 2019, 1.2 million children fell ill with Tuberculosis globally with Africa and Southeast Asia found to have the highest number of children infected. Pneumonia is the number 1 infectious cause of morbidity and mortality in children under the age of 5.
And there're only 20 qualified paediatric radiologists on the African continent.
As infections increase, doctors will be under pressure to diagnose more images in less time and at a lower cost whilst prioritising care for those how need it most.
The Solution:
RADIFY® platform is a Clinical Decision Support (CDS) software-as-a-medical-device (SaMD) designed and developed to assist qualified medical professionals in the analysis of Chest X-Rays (CXR) images. RADIFY® platform is fully supported by Envisionit Deep AI® radiology team via RADIFY® Teleradiology services, RADIFY® Post Market Surveillance tool and Envisionit Deep AI® Quality Assurance programmes.
RADIFY® platform identifies the areas of abnormal radiologic findings and analysis the features suggestive of multiple pathologies and abnormalities. RADIFY® platform also prioritises the images based on probability of Pneumonia, COVID Pneumonia, Tuberculosis and other conditions.
RADIFY® platform is available as a cloud, on-premise or hybrid solution, capable of integrating into complex hospital IT environments as well as running as a stand-alone platform. Certain elements of the platform are also available on a mobile device.
