Who we are
Entersekt started its journey less than a decade ago, when we began working with banks in South Africa to help them secure their digital channels by utilizing customers’ mobile devices. We have since gone global, but are still a young and nimble company where everyone makes a difference and where achieving our BHAG is a team effort.
We believe that mobile will become a truly transformative technology. It’s already an enormous driver of innovation, making the sharing economy a reality and turning the fintech revolution into a force to be reckoned with.
Where you fit in
Mobile promises convenience, knowledge and freedom – but it can only deliver if security can be guaranteed. That’s where we come in, and it’s also where you come in. You can help us pave the way for a more secure, connected future.
We hire high-impact, incredibly talented people so that we work smarter, not harder. If you’re borderline fanatic about building world-class software and being part of a team of hypersmart developers working on mobile platforms, cloud infrastructure and a clustered back-end server, you’ll feel right at home.
Our hiring process includes an initial meet and greet (either via phone or in person), a technical interview consisting of a programming project with a discussion session, and a company fit interview where we can get to know you and you can get to know us.

A day at Entersekt
After making your way to the office through the leafy avenue into Technopark, you order your morning caffeine fix from our in-house barista, Sivu, skimming through the newspaper or having a quick game of table-tennis with a colleague while you wait. At your workstation, you quickly check your mail before your team’s stand-up meeting, where everyone gets on the same page before the work starts. If you’re in the middle of a sprint, you might need a second Americano before lunch. If not, maybe you’ll approach the scrum master about an idea you’ve been mulling over.
If you missed the sandwich and biltong peddlers who often stop at reception, you pop across the road to Smulpaap for lunch. Having cleared your head, you say hi to a neighbouring team and bounce around some thoughts on the latest global security issue. The conversation snowballs and you’re struck by inspiration that has you absorbed in research until a company-wide email informs you that The Donuts Have Arrived (yay its someone's birthday!). At the weekly staff lunch you catch up with colleagues from Marketing and Finance before wrapping up and heading home for the weekend.
