Who we are
We believe that mobile will be as transformative a technology as any we have seen. It’s already an enormous driver of innovation, making the sharing economy an exciting reality and the fintech revolution the force it is today.
Entersekt began its journey less than a decade ago, working with banks in South Africa to help them secure their digital channels using their customers’ mobile devices. We have since gone global, but we want to remain a nimble, young company, where everyone can make a difference. We hire high-impact, incredibly talented men and women so that we, as a team, work smarter, not harder. Most importantly, you need to be borderline fanatic about building worldclass software and being part of a team of hypersmart developers.
Join us as we prepare the way for a more secure, connected future. Mobile promises convenience, knowledge, freedom – but only if we can guarantee the identity and intentions of all parties concerned. That’s where you come in. Help us to continue doing just that.
Our hiring process is flexible and it depends on your location and flexibility around your current working environment. Normally we do two interviews with different set of interviewers. The first would be a more general type interview followed by a technical interview with the team.

A day at Entersekt
After parking your trusty wheels in the purpose-built basement (no searching for parking here!), you order your morning caffeine fix from our in-house barista, perhaps skimming through the newspaper while you wait. At your workstation, you quickly check your mail before the daily stand-up meeting, where everyone gets on the same page before the work starts. If you’re in the middle of a sprint, you may need a second (or third) Americano before lunch. If not, perhaps you’ll approach the scrum master about that cool idea you had.
If you missed the sandwich and biltong peddlers who often make a stop at Reception, you may decide to pop across the road to Smulpaap for lunch, or perhaps you’ll take a two-minute drive to Stellenbosch Square or Paradyskloof Spar. Having cleared your head, you look into your neighbouring team’s office on the way back to bounce off some thoughts. The conversation takes a turn and you’re struck by inspiration that has you absorbed in research until a company-wide e-mail informs you that The Donuts Have Arrived (that means it’s Friday!). At this weekly mini-social you catch up with your colleagues from Marketing, Finance, etc. before wrapping up and heading home for the weekend.
