Disraptor's vision is to do just that. We want to achieve this by making technology affordable and accessible. We believe that every business, whether a startup or corporate, is largely affected by digital technology, and success in a digital world gets more and more complex. That's where we step in.

Our blend of strong business and technical acumen allows us to provide holistic, end-to-end services to drive innovation, business growth and success through digital enablement.

As a tech startup directly funded by AWS, Disraptor are at the forefront of data-driven innovation. Specializing in comprehensive Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps and AI/ML/GenAI, we empower businesses to harness the full potential of their data. Disraptor’s mission for 2024 is to productise services out of every client project undertaken. We’ve built some pretty cool products and are really looking to our team to expand on this.

Why the name Disraptor?
The name Disraptor is an amalgamation of the words disrupt and Velociraptor.
Disrupting is our modus operandi – questioning the status quo, disrupting legacy thought processes, continuously evolving and innovating.
Taking on a Velociraptor’s qualities – They are fast, agile, work in groups and quick thinkers

Why Work For Us

We always have unique and super cool projects for our engineers to work on - you will never be board at Disraptor! Ranging from enterprise clients in South Africa to startup clients in Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and a small portion in the USA. You will also get to help us with ideation and implementation on how to productize more services for startups in EMEA.
Oh and AWS is our commercial investor, so if you're keen to meet executive Amazonians, we can arrange for that :)

Our Culture

We have a very diverse and inclusive culture at Disraptor, with a strong focus on employee well-being, but also a critical focus on delivery! We welcome engineers from all walks of life, and find that our diversity brings forth so many unique ideas on how we can be better at what we do, and who we are. Other than being super smart engineers, we have with us a spiritual healer, a DJ, a photographer, a chairperson of the township LGBTQI+ community, a music producer, professional gamers, professional chef's, nature and outdoor content creation enthusiasts, professional athletes, a boxer, a model and an MTN app of the year finalist (from their pet project!). The list goes on and we have so much of fun whilst working hard.

Our Engineering Processes

We have many :) But we moreso want to know how you feel you can add some innovation and streamlining to our processes

Our Hiring Process

Our interview process is quite a nimble one. We're able to judge if you're a culture and technical fit pretty fast, and if we spot it that you got it, we don't waste time in making an offer!
How it goes is a 1st round culture fit interview with the Co-founders - please be ready for the question on why you want to work for a startup like Disraptor. We want you to win, so we're happy to give away that super critical question.
The 2nd round is a technical interview with our Technical Lead, where we test you on your current technical skillset.

Perks
We have a 'No Leave' Policy, where we do not count the annual and sick leave taken by employees. We allow them to take as much leave as they need as per the policy document. This in an effort to promote work life balance for our engineers :)
