About Digital Wedge Technologies

Digital Wedge Technologies is a software development & payments integration company. It was founded in 2015 with a focus of delivering automated booking & financial services primarily to the Sports Club industry, via various club management systems in South Africa, United Kingdom & Middle East. In 2024, we are proud of our partner integrations and our own proudly South African, standalone cloud hosted management membership solution. We offer sports, leisure clubs and retirement villages membership management with the freedom of choice pertaining to their preferred accounting & point of sale partners that they choose to run in their environments with our API integrations.

We have had success in our integration with Sage Online & Xero cloud-based accounting packages which allow for real-time account automation in a Member & Visitor driven environment. Our software allows Members to pay and settle accounts, top up and prefund club accounts or purchase Club services, even top-up another member’s account, all through one portal. Members/Visitors can view any events at the Club, see availability on a tee sheet, make bookings and secure those bookings by means of immediate payment. Our systems tie into current websites for ease of use. We have demonstrated the ability to take an account process from payment to reconciliation in a matter of seconds.

We have partnered with leading names in the POS industry, bringing further integration to the Club and making sure we offer a comprehensive, professional Club solution. Our hosted e-wallet solution allows for seamless POS integration and cashless club environments facilitating tiered member discount structures.

My Club Account has shown a significant reduction in player no-shows, increased tee sheet/event & sport prepayment and placed the Club in complete control of their own revenue. We allow the Club to manage rules in real time, be their own last-minute golf provider and even offer the Club the ability to run their own targeted specials with linked inventory items i.e., carts/clubs/comp fees/events etc.

Member Management – Our fastest growing module! We believe this is the foundation of your Club. From online member registration and selection of membership type, through to payment of subscriptions, auto creation of the new member profile and all member functionality; to admin backend access, adding/updating member detail and even doing a bulk upload of a new membership for preregistration, it’s all possible via My Club Account. Member
Payments – Live, cashless and contactless club card top-up via our hosted E-wallet, Club & Subs payments, customized bulk subs & single/multi-payment links. Beneficiary payments of both Subs and top-up.
Tee Times – Members & Visitors pre-paid tee times & booking platform. Backend rate setup, last minute specials, controlled access driven by date and time etc.

Events & Ticketing - From raffles to donation funds, functions, sailing competitions, Club Champ entries, picnics, walking trails or venue bookings, we have it all available to you. Individual QR code for access control on every issued ticket. Full reporting admin backend. Admin can send complimentary tickets at no cost or send tickets with an embedded payment link. Make your event Public or limit your event to Members only - or have both with differing ticket costs!

Sports Booking - including touchless light management - We deliver a comprehensive Court booking solution whereby Members, Member Guests, and Visitors (depending on Club Rules and Policies) can book and pay for their bookings online. Simple email communication of confirmation or cancellation as well as the ability to manage your own booking. A check-in function either at the courts or on mobile device, activates the lights which will stay on for the duration of the booking. This unique light management feature allows for later court/range booking times. Full admin backend with reporting export to excel function.
