What we do

DataDrive2030 is a social enterprise focused on closing the opportunity gaps in early childhood education. Founded in 2022 and based in Cape Town, South Africa, we operate within the Education Services industry. Our suite of Early Learning Measurement tools (ELOM) accurately measure a range of developmental outcomes in young children, and provide an indication of the quality of the early learning environment in home and programme settings. Administration is digitised and our tools are embedded within an end-to-end data value chain that enables users with varying levels of research expertise to collect and use data. Data from surveys and research are made available on an open source platform for secondary analyses. Our assessment tools are used by ECD programme operators, NGOs, funders and researchers to generate data to inform programme improvements, and at national and provincial levels we partner with Government and private sector to monitor population level trends over time.
