Cyreen was founded in 2017 and is a German start-up specializing in the development of novel, highly effective retail media solutions for stationary retailers and FMCG advertisers.
C.A.P. (Connecting Ad-Impressions with Purchase) is our product: a data-based retail medium with integrated advertising impact technology. Intelligent screens seduce shoppers in supermarkets with the right ad at the right time.
The technology establishes a new retail media standard as it provides proof that previous USPs of online media can be transferred in a simple, effective and efficient way for the offline advertising market. Based on our data-driven approach, offline campaigns become precisely measurable.
The measurement methodology developed for C.A.P. and its data and consumer protection concept were also considered as groundbreaking by various industry experts - and has received both funding and an award from the EU Commission in 2021.

With CAP, Cyreen introduces a media innovation in the advertising market. Buyers are inspired with audio-visual advertising messages on intelligent CAP screens. The advertisements seen are assigned to the individual receipts. This enables in-depth analysis of advertising campaign performance, such as in online marketing.

We are a dynamic and innovative startup, which is at home in the areas of marketing and big data. With our data-driven retail media solution called CAP, we enable effective advertising campaigns for consumer goods brands such as Barilla and Coca-Cola in supermarkets. Our unique analytics deliver reliable insights into the performance of consumer goods brands' advertising campaigns.
With CAP we enable the transfer of online marketing solutions known from Facebook and Google to the offline area. In this way, we enable brands to take advantage of online marketing, but offline directly at the point of sale.
As a start-up, we have flat hierarchies, maintain a very personal approach and live a "we-can-do-it" attitude. We value a pleasant working atmosphere and an open approach. We are characterized by the mix of young team members with fresh ideas and very experienced, senior experts.

We do not have a formal process. However, we hold a weekly tech meeting and use an iterative approach to all of our development. We use a CI/CD pipeline connecting our Github repos with our container repositories in AWS. Our goal is to get systems running quickly and then to improve them incrementally. Our goal is a microservice architecture hosted in AWS. We write most of our code in Go (Golang), Python, and Javascript.
