Comotion is a Data Analytics Company focused on the financial sector. Comotion was formed out of the belief that business and IT experts need to work closely together and for this reason our team includes a healthy mix! This ensures that our systems are built from the ground up to add business value and that sustainable business models are built around them.

ENVIRONMENT

We love our work; therefore we construct an environment conducive to producing efficient work.

• Developers at Comotion have an opportunity to shape the future of the company through research. We have a monthly meeting called “the Comotion Academy” where one person will research and present on a technology. Examples of research in the past is: Amazon AWS, World of JavaScript, PhoneGap and Quantum computing
• We provide snacks in the form of bread, cheese, ham, apples, etc
• Deluxe or Academy of Coffee coffee is freely available via a bean to cup machine or Aeropress. We also have a tea lady serving tea or coffee twice a day.
• We have a “bring your own device” policy. Therefore each employee receives a before tax PC allowance (the majority of the development team use Macs).

VALUES

We have a weekly meeting called “Round Table” by Global Priority. In each meeting we openly discuss one of forty values. Examples of the values are “productivity”, “trust”, “humility”, “conflict”, etc.
