We are working in an area that craves creative thinking and lends to a host of unique challenges waiting to be conquered; from solving Image recognition challenges, interpreting and building predictive analytics through to building, visualising and showcasing our findings. We value teamwork and are at heart a quirky bunch looking to expand our team and offering while keeping our core the same.
What we do?
Cognizance is a cross-platform retail analysis platform, utilising physical execution metrics, digital current and historic data to provide near real time retail reporting, interpretations and predictions on each aspect of the retail chain.
Cognizance uses the Image Recognition results as real-life metrics; analysing images taken in-trade, thereafter comparing the results to epos data and planograms/flows to provide a detailed picture of our customers retail operation, providing them insight and action plans on room for optimisation, improvement and change. From a strategic through to operational standpoint.
We provide near real time, actionable insights designed to have a measured effect in the world outside.

Our Hiring Process
The first steps is to just actually get introduced, have a chat and for you to find out more the business and our team and to allow us a chance to get to know you as a person.
Once we hit it off, we would like to introduce you to some of the greater team; once acquainted we will have a discussion internally and decide on next steps.
Next, we would do a more formal interview and provide you with a technical assessment task to complete. This allows us to get more insight into how you think, what skills you have, how you use them and how you communicate your ideas, skills and thinking. Mostly it's about how we (you and our team) interact and communicate. Does the way we give feedback and communicate align with you.
After that, we would like you to meet the rest of the team.
Then would have a conversation to join the team.
