Carebit is a design-led, remote-first healthtech company supporting more than 1,800 consultants across UK private healthcare. We help clinicians, secretaries and practice managers run safe, efficient, modern private practices, giving patients a better experience at every step.

We are profitable, bootstrapped, and growing quickly. Data migration is central to how we onboard new practices, and with increasing demand, we are hiring a data engineer to take full technical ownership of the function. This includes strengthening our Ruby-based migrator, improving our validators, and ensuring the team executes migrations consistently and safely.

Although this role is remote, the successful candidate must be based in Cape Town and able to join occasional in-office sessions with our Cape Town team.
