We're a small team on a mission to help innovative companies grow their businesses – and along the way, we're championing a more human way to work.
Buffer was started in 2010 as a simple way to schedule posts on Twitter. Today it's a growing suite of tools now serving more than 75,000 customers.
Where will I work?
Buffer is a fully remote team, spread across the whole planet. We have Bufferoos in 15 countries, 11 timezones and 42 cities (and counting!). As a member of our team, you will be invited to work wherever you're happiest and most productive.

Our Hiring Process
Step 1: Getting to know your value (async only). You'll receive an invite to your interview doc so that we can learn more about the value you could bring to Buffer.
Step 2: Getting to know your role. You'll chat with an engineering manager, and another engineer in a joint interview and to learn more about your background, experience, and achievements.
Step 3: Brief exercise (async only). In this step of the process, you'll showcase your technical skill in a take-home exercise.
Step 4: Get to know our technologies and your background. You'll talk to Dan, our CTO, and another engineer in a joint interview about the exercise. This will not involve live coding or white-boarding!
Step 5: Getting to know your team. You'll chat with Katie, our VP of engineering, and potential teammates about what it's like to be a member of the team.
