Our IT and systems teams play an integral role in ensuring we’re able to live up to our reputation for creating leading-edge, world-first products and services. Our needs-matched product is enabled through sophisticated, proprietary systems – developed in house. That’s why it is important for us to attract and retain the best ICT talent. We strive to achieve that by adhering to the following three-step hiring process – it’s not just designed for us to assess your skills, but also gives you a chance to experience what we do and how we do it.
Step 1: Introduction and aptitude test – 2hrs 30 mins
Your first interview will take around 150 minutes. We know it might not be easy to take so much time off work – so we’re ready and willing to work around your availability.
This interview will introduce you to BrightRock, who we are and what we do. Please free to ask as many questions as you like during this process, we want you to make sure that we are a good fit for you.
You’ll then do an aptitude test once we have completed the introduction. You must pass the aptitude test with a qualifying mark of 10/15. If you pass, you’ll then do an hour-long technical test, which will help us determine your level of skill and experience.
Step 2: Meet the team – 2hrs
If you’re successful in the first part, we’ll invite you for the second part of your interview
We’ll start off with a technical discussion with one of our architects and a few other developers about technology, your experience and other interests.
This will help us evaluate your skills and give you the chance to get to know some of the team mates you’ll be working with if you get the job.
Step 3: Salary, feedback and culture – 1hr
The final interview is around an hour long
This interview is usually with the Head of Information Communication Technology (ICT)
You’ll discuss your level and salary and might include feedback from your previous interviews.
This interview will also help us see whether you fit into the team culture, and give you the opportunity to ask any other questions you might have.
