Who Are We?
Brandbook analytics and intelligence platforms are built on top of thousands of receipts that come in many different shapes, sizes, and vary from retailer to retailer. Some of the differences are fairly obvious like the logo and the look and feel of the receipt itself.
The challenge comes when you have a look at how different retailers label the same product differently. As you can imagine this is set up to be one of the most important ML research to be conducted on the continent while leveraging the most efficient & most effective technology to deliver value from transcribing data which has for a long time gone unmeasured and wasted. At Brandbook we collect thousands of receipts on a daily basis. Monday to Monday. This a blessing as we see detailed purchasing behaviour across the country on a near real-time basis. These receipts, collected from thousands of shoppers across the nation who are part of our research use different mobile devices with different camera quality. Transforming these images of receipts to useful and meaningful data means state of the art technological practises to ensure accuracy in identifying and extracting the product-related line descriptions on the receipts.

Our Recruitment Process
We are firm believers that attitude and mentality beat skill and qualifications every single day. It is because of this that we are firstly focused on the ability to problem solve and have the right mindset to tackle any issues you may face both personally and professionally. There are technical assessments as well as culture fit assessments that are part of phase 2 and phase 3 of our recruitment process.
