BATL Axe Throwing is a dynamic, inclusive, and progressive international company with a long track record of internal career advancement. Our mission at BATL is to show people the power of being good to each other using the axe as a tool to build community, inspired by our backyard roots. Founded in 2006, we’re immensely proud to have been the first organization in the world to offer an indoor venue to experience the thrill of axe throwing in leagues, group parties, walk-ins, and team building. We continue to further our promise to be as inclusive as possible in our work and play environment, actively working to create a sense of belonging for a diversity of perspectives reflecting the greater community. Unlike most sports, our throwers always compete head-to-head with no separation by gender identity or physical disability, including tournament play. Why Work For Us

At BATL Axe Throwing, we’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our growing team in our Software & Technology department. You will develop digital solutions to support our online community while increasing internal workflow efficiency. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, you will be engaged in software design and development, infrastructure design and maintenance, as well as other duties as assigned. You must be at ease working in an agile environment with little supervision. BATL’s Software Engineer should embody a passion for continuous improvement and test-driven development. We’re looking for engaged, motivated people to join our team (OK, who isn't). Small teams need great collaborators and communicators.
