What we do
aYo Holdings Limited is a venture that benefits from the scale, expertise and market access provided by its shareholder, the MTN Group and will focus on selected countries in Africa to offer relevant, accessible and easy to use insurance solutions to consumers.
aYo brings you an easy way to get hospital cover for accidents (not illness) and life cover. Simply register on your cellphone for aYo Recharge with Care and get a minimum of 30 days’ free cover every time you load MTN airtime. You can also add aYo Send with Care cover to the money you send home or use to pay school fees through MTN Mobile Money.
The aYo Head Office is situated in Roodepoort with a staff compliment of approximately 25.
We have an office in Cape Town with approximately 40 IT team members. aYo Limited is able to work fully remotely from any part of South Africa and the rest of the African countries.

Our Hiring Process
- First zoom interview
- Technical test (3 days to complete, 1 day to review).
- 2nd interview with panel -Do psychometrics if needed.
- Feedback to candidate and further engagement if employment is offered.
