Angama Amboseli: Opening 2023: In the shadow of Mt. Kilimanjaro lies Angama Amboseli, an intimate camp set in an abundant private wildlife sanctuary, and a favourite of some of the last Super Tusker elephants.

Angama Safaris: A boutique travel desk, Angama Safaris plans trips across East Africa to handpicked properties — all with the level of service and attention to detail Angama guests have come to expect.

Angama Foundation: Our guests’ nightly contributions at work, the Angama Foundation supports our neighbouring communities in conservation, education and healthcare.

The Greatest Maasai Mara Photographer of the Year: A photo competition to raise awareness and conservation funding for the Mara through micro-donations.

Why Work For Us

We are a small, tight-knit team with a rapidly expanding footprint. We are looking for a developer to be the key architect in our growth path: opening a second property in 2023 (requiring a new website architecture and design); the integration of CRM and booking APIs; a custom web app; an e-commerce site; a custom push notification system, et. al.

Our Engineering Processes

Our website is a built on a custom WordPress theme, connected to various APIs that manages real time lodge rates, availability and CRM data, using a CloudFlare as the CDN to deliver assets to the user. DevOps is managed through GitLab that ships to testing, staging and production repositories.

Our Hiring Process

We are looking for the right cultural fit — a self-motivator who wants to be hands-on in an impact-driven organisation. We will invite candidates to an initial call, a skills assessment and feedback session, as well as a cultural in-person interview with the broader team.
