123tutors is an Award-winning EdTech startup based in Sandton, South Africa, founded in 2017. We are striving to fully automate end-to-end tutor and student matching (and beyond) using sophisticated algorithms.

We push the boundaries of web technology to allow students and parents to find the very best tutors on all levels of education from university to primary school, nationwide, and internationally by 2022. Our claim to fame is that we have the largest vetted tutor database of over 3500 tutors in South Africa, consequently, we can get a specific tutor for any university student on any academic level - but we need a full-time developer to take it to the next level.

Our main backer and advisor is one of the most experienced COOs in South Africa, who helps us to fine-tune our operations. Our hiring process consists of one interview and a short coding project focusing on frontend development (HTML, CSS, JS, JQUERY, Bootrstap) and Backend Development (PHP, MySQL, Node.js and Firebase).
