We know we can make this whole pensions / banking / savings / wealth management thing easier. Using the things we know best – tech, designing user-friendly interfaces, and the very real frustrations of dealing with traditional banks, we built something better.
A process that puts you, the customer, first. An app that is simple and fast to use with no middleman, it encourages a sense of autonomy and provides you with a complete digital solution for your finances.

11Fifty was started by 2 serial entrepreneurs who have successfully started, built up, and exited several companies between them so there is a great track history - we know what we are doing (and our investors know that too :))
We strive to offer the best working environment possible in order to keep our team happy. No dress-code, flexible working hours and holidays, and remote work.
We're casual and we operate with a flat organisational structure - if you want to talk with anyone on our team, you just go and do it. No gatekeepers and no managers. We don't do fancy titles and strict hierarchies here, we prefer to focus on things like interesting work and solving challenging problems without having to deal with corporate hang-ups. And we do it all in slops, jeans and t-shirts.
While we have an existing tech-stack to consider, you'll also be free to suggest any new tool or solution that you want to try out and just run with it, as long as you can justify it to your teammates.
Our Engineering Processes
Our current processes can be summed up as move-fast-and-make-things. As a startup, we're moving fast and furious, and our processes are evolving with us. If you value things like proper linting and TDD, then we definitely need to have a chat.
If you are keen to try your hand at designing and architecting proper processes, this is definitely the place to be.
Our Hiring Process
First off, no ridiculous whiteboard interviews. No one codes that way, and we also won't expect you to do an impromptu avant-garde dance performance piece either.
Firstly, we will invite you in for a casual "coffee and chat" to get to know you, your aspirations and career dreams, and of course what you could do to make 11Fifty the best one-stop financial ecosystem in the world!
If all goes well, we then ask you to do a quick test project, one you can do at home in your own time, just to make sure that you'll be able to hit the ground running here - nothing too serious should only take you a couple of hours.
After that, we'll talk about the nitty-gritty; what we can offer, and discuss the kind of compensation you'll be looking for.
From there, if we're both happy and keen, it should just be tying up loose ends and then sealing the deal.
