As a global information and insights company, we provide an accurate and comprehensive picture of each person, and steward it with care. As a result, organizations can better understand consumers in order to make more informed decisions, and consumers can be confident their data identities will result in the opportunities they deserve. Our broad portfolio in South Africa, where we have the nation’s largest vehicle database, includes products that address fraud, identity and risk management, automated decisioning, and marketing. Our customers include two of the four largest banks, the top 10 insurance companies, and top multinationals in banking, retail and telco.
We make trust possible by ensuring each consumer is reliably and safely represented in the marketplace.
We call this Information for Good®.
Technology at TU
Technology careers at TransUnion go beyond infrastructure and server maintenance. Our tech associates are challenged to combine their imaginations with their technical skills to propose, pursue and develop solutions to drive our business. It’s a fluid, open culture that encourages new thinking and ownership of ideas.
We’re not your usual information company – our environment is like a tech sandbox, combining experimentation and new ways of working with classic technical discipline.
Technology at TransUnion has forward-facing impact – our tech employees directly affect the company’s success, succeeding in a nimble, strategic environment of data, capabilities and talent.
Next generation tools and techniques are the norm – from data virtualization, to open source technologies, to research and development, tech employees use the latest to create the newest.
We’re a career destination, and also a journey of discovery – our centers of excellence for mentor training and our deep R&D are just a couple of examples of how we help employees learn and grow each day.
Our hiring process
Our hiring process includes a screening call with Talent Acquisition, two face to face interviews and psychometric assessments. At the moment, the process is virtual via MS Teams and we are all still currently working from home and when we one day return to the office, it will be a hybrid model.
