Imagined Earth takes recycling to a new level by rewarding customers for recycling with our innovative Reverse Vending Machine - a first in South Africa.

A Reverse Vending Machine (RVM] is a unique and interactive platform that provides both businesses and consumers an opportunity to contribute actively to the solution of environmental degradation in a convenient and rewarding way. The machine is able to process plastic, steel and aluminum, and rewards users for their contribution through the way of points. Users are then able to accumulate points to enter a variety of competitions, including special school initiatives and CSI campaigns via the Imagined Earth website once they have registered. Each machine has a digital screen that provides advertising space in the form of either rotating static or video slots. This drastically reduces the carbon footprint of more traditional advertising while remaining cost-effective and highly visible.
