Our Engineering Processes
We've implemented an agile development process that centres around impact. Our project-focused approach gives our devs a chance to bring forward data-driven ideas for improvements and features and see them through to the end. Our job is not Done once implementation is over. It is only Done once our desired impact has been achieved. This mindset is what drives our development at Crewmeister.
Our Hiring Process
We want our hiring process to not only bring us the strongest technical candidates, but the best people to add value to our team. Here are the steps involved:
- Intro call (30 minutes) - we want to learn more about your expectations for this role, and share some more information about how we see the role fitting within our team and organisation
- Coding challenge (7 days) - this is a practical assessment we ask all candidates to complete within 7 days of the intro call, in order to showcase their skills on their preferred technology (React, Java, RoR)
- Code walkthrough interview (1 hour) - sit down with the coding challenge reviewers and discuss your solution approach. As your new potential colleagues, feel free to ask them any questions you might have to make sure this is the right team and company for you
- Live coding interview (1.5 hours) - this is a 2-part interview with our CTO Mike: the first part is a brief live coding exercise (data structures and algorithms) and the second part is a conversation
