The founders of Codified, are 4 veterans from different verticals within the software development environment. We decided to collaborate and form a software development company with the same vision in mind to create innovative technology fit for purpose. Each founder has the right acumen and attitude and experience to build a lucrative and scalable business.

We don't just build any software, the team needs to agree on the vision and what problem we are solving.

The majority of the founders come from the corporate world, we know what we don't want!
Rather than just a number in a big dev team or company, we are nimble, agile, and trust our crew.
We are on a mission to build multiple SAAS products which will be published on multiple marketplaces around the world. We want each staff member to be remunerated for their contribution to building a stable and scalable SAAS product. We have also decided to prevision shares to key staff over a period of time based on commitment and passion for the business and products.

Our Culture

We support employee involvement and take staff ideas seriously. Considering you work two-thirds of your life, you need to enjoy the environment you work in. We are an active bunch of individuals that enjoy the outdoors, so it's normal for the team to surf or hike before work starts. Implementing culture in a majority remote business has its pros and cons. Our method to combat isolation from excessive remote working is social gatherings and fixed time slots during the week to have an open mic conversation on slack. This way, we are able to share ideas and joke around for a bit.

Living a healthy and fit lifestyle is important and we provide wellness days, during the year to support this fact.

Our Hiring Process

Meeting 1 - With Directors - (up to 1 hour)

  1. Who are you?
  2. What makes you tick?
  3. Previous experience.
  4. Ideas around "does" and dont's
  5. What is your idea of culture?
  6. Open questions to us.

Meeting 2 - Live coding session (with Technical Director) - (up to 1.5 hours)

  1. Screen share - live coding session.
  2. After the test, a debrief/review of the session.

Post the live coding session we will be in a position to make a call.
From the initial meeting to testing, we would like to make an offer no later than 5 working days.
